Climate Change Center is beginning a new chapter as Climate Change Foundation.
Launched in 2008 as Korea’s first nonprofit organization dedicated to climate change, Climate Change Center began its work when climate change had yet to become a central issue in our society.
Over the past 18 years, we have helped establish climate change as a societal agenda and fostered dialogue and cooperation among government, industry, academia, and civil society. Through this work, we have laid the groundwork for diverse stakeholders to find policy solutions through dialogue and deliberation, and for action-oriented climate response to spread across society.
Now, building on this experience and our networks, we are taking a new step forward as Climate Change Foundation, with a broader role and greater responsibility.
Today, the climate crisis demands fundamental change across society as a whole—in energy transition, industrial restructuring, technological innovation, and international cooperation. Yet many of the solutions remain scattered across sectors.
Climate Change Foundation aims to create a space of connection where these movements and actors can meet and cooperate.
Our work will be guided by three core values: Credible Voice, Constructive Action, and Collaborative Innovation—fostering dialogue, driving action, and expanding climate solutions through collaboration.
Climate action cannot be achieved by any single organization or sector alone. By bringing diverse solutions and actors together, we can create meaningful change across society.
Building on a trusted climate discourse, Climate Change Foundation will continue to seek actionable solutions and, through cooperation and innovation, strengthen our society's capacity for climate response.
