On December 8, Chairman Jai-Chul CHOI held a meeting with Dr. Eun-Hee Ha, Director of the Ewha Global Social Responsibility Center at Ewha Womans University, to discuss concrete avenues for strengthening youth leadership in the fields of climate, environment, and health, as well as opportunities for expanded global social contribution initiatives.

During the meeting, Dr. Ha introduced the Center’s major initiatives launched in 2025—including the inaugural 2025 Earth Health Forum—and outlined plans to further develop the G4A (Green for All) youth climate supporters program, which integrates the university’s social responsibility agenda with climate action competencies. She expressed strong interest in identifying collaborative models with the Climate Change Center, drawing inspiration from youth-driven programs such as U-Savers and Climatus College. Dr. Ha also requested information on the Plastic School Attack project, noting its relevance to student-led climate action on campus.

Chairman Choi commended Ewha Womans University for its credibility and academic excellence, proposing several pathways for collaboration: joint development of global youth leadership programs linked to women’s empowerment and child welfare projects in developing countries; field-based surveys and interviews capturing pre- and post-disaster conditions in climate-vulnerable regions; and policy- and data-driven cooperation models aligned with the university’s carbon neutrality strategy. He emphasized that “youth are not only participants in climate action, but the driving force that translates knowledge into meaningful change,” adding that a joint model between Ewha and the Climate Change Center “can elevate the level of climate leadership within Korean universities and establish a new standard for global social contribution.”

Building on this discussion, the Climate Change Center will continue to strengthen youth-centered collaboration platforms that connect universities, civil society, and international partners, while expanding data-driven practical programs and global social contribution initiatives.
